Dominique is a Fluent Spanish speaking attorney offering services in mediation, arbitration, neutral case evaluation, moderated settlement conferences and alternative dispute resolution.
Dominique is a native of Colombia, South America and is fluent in Spanish. She is able to conduct full mediations in Spanish if needed. She possesses the ability to communicate with all the parties and discuss all aspects of the mediation process fluently in Spanish. Dominique has an awareness of cultural diversity and knows that it is an important tool for a mediator in helping the parties feel comfortable during mediation, to trust the process and work towards resolution. Dominique knows and understands that Mediators not only need to use strong communication skills to understand a dispute and to connect to parties, but they also need to help the parties to engage in a constructive exchange when their own poor communication skills may be at the heart of the conflict. The fewer barriers to communication there are in a dialogue during mediation, the greater the likelihood that the parties will get their points of view across effectively, understand each other, and work toward a mutually beneficial resolution of their case. In mediation, Dominique makes certain that the facts, issues and law are heard, analyzed, and followed logically. With excellent communications skills she is able to find creative, professional and innovative solutions acceptable to the parties in order to solve the disputes. She goes beyond simply trying to help both parties reach an agreement, but instead looks to discover new and innovative ways to satisfy the needs of all parties to the dispute while helping to maintain the parties’ working relationship.
Dominique offers professional mediation and alternative dispute resolution services to both companies and individuals. Her fluency in the Spanish language and her excellent communication skills, help Dominique to effectively communicate with all parties involved in the case.
