Bill is Executive Vice President and Healthcare Vertical Leader for Gallagher Bassett Specialty. Bill is an attorney with more than 30 years of experience in the healthcare industry, starting his career as a trial lawyer for 12 years in Cook County, Illinois. He then assumed the role of Vice President and Head of the Strategic Claims Division at CNA Insurance, with oversight responsibility of CNA’s highest exposure matters. At CNA, Bill also served as the VP Technical Officer for Global Specialty Line Claims, and the line of business claims officer for CNA HealthPro Claims. From 2005-2019, Bill worked at Northwestern Medicine in Chicago, where her served as Senior Vice President of Administration, Chief Risk Officer and President of Northwestern Memorial Insurance Company. Bill’s role included day-to-day operational responsibility for claims & litigation, clinical risk management, corporate insurance and various system key initiatives.
