I am the Vice President, Deputy Counsel, Medical Malpractice and General Liability Program in Risk Management at Northwell Health. I have been practicing since 1997 and prior to working at Northwell, I practiced medical malpractice defense and general liability defense at several metropolitan NY law firms where I handled cases from inception through resolution including trial and appeal. I have been at Northwell Risk Management since July 2012. I lead and oversee the strategy, development, integration and administration of the Medical Malpractice and General Liability Claims Program policies, services, and programs for the Health System. I participate in the development and implementation of financial, strategic and loss control activities and operates and manages departmental medical malpractice claims teams.
