Risk Retention Group CMIC RRG bolstered its Board of Directors with the addition of a new member, Dr. Stratton Danes. Danes bring with him expertise as a board-certified vascular surgeon, specializing in critical limb salvage, aortic aneurysm repair, venous disease and carotid interventions. He is currently an attending physician at Middlesex Hospital and Lawrence Memorial Hospital in Connecticut, along with Westerly Hospital and South County Hospital in Rhode Island.
Integris Group added a new board member to its roster, appointing Dr. Victoria Reyes to the Integris Group Board of Directors. Dr. Reyes is board-certified in anatomic pathology and clinical pathology. She has served on several committees focusing on safety in the laboratory and patient care settings. She has been the Chair of the Pathology Department and the Laboratory Medical at Lawrence & Memorial Hospital since 2009 and at Westerly Hospital since 2013.
Beazley hired medical professional liability expert Joseph Washington as underwriter for U.S. Hospitals. His role is the first step in the company’s expansion of the U.S. Hospitals product in the U.S., where it continues to target double-digit growth into 2022. Washington previously worked at Berkshire Hathaway and Zurich and has over 25 years of medical professional liability insurance experience.
