Skyward Specialty Insurance Group, Inc. has announced that it is ready to begin quoting business to its partners. Skyward Specialty, which is one of the bigger names in the specialty property and casualty insurance market, had previously stated that it intended to enter the Healthcare Professional Liability business. Initially, all underwriting will be primarily concerned with out-patient medical service centers such as:

• dialysis centers,
• physical therapy locations,
• home health and hospice businesses,
• medical and nursing staffing companies,
• and specialty pharmacies.
  
  Potentially, the business could also grow to encompass other offerings.

Business Wire reports that Brenda Craig will lead the group, with April Gilcreast and Chantelle Burton joining her at the helm. Craig was formerly President of Healthcare at OneBeacon Insurance. Gilcreast brings more than 17 years of experience unifying health insurance products with distribution strategy, operational processes, and program development. Burton has 25 years of experience in underwriting and managing dedicated teams focused on healthcare professional liability insurance.
